• Los Inrockuptibles •

(first of all, sorry for my prolonged absence from the blog.. – being busy in perfecting the fine art of wasting time and fooling around – and whining over my joblessness in the spare time.. uhm uhm..)

btw, while surfing the net in my midnight half-drunken web trips, i bumped into this amazingly creepy example of guerrilla marketing.. it’s the ad campaign for argentinian magazine Los Inrockuptibles..

how cool are they, up/down there (it depends from the perspective u look at argentina, i guess?)?

i SOOOOOOO want to go to buenos aires more and more!! ♥ ♥ ♥

Hi im Lucas.
Im an Architect/Designer/Creative/Who cares.
I love to draw and think about stuff I could do.
I have the biggest to do list you have ever seen. Well its more of a “To do before I die kind of list”

I love the pleasure I receive from my eyes when I see images that evoke something, a certain mood, a certain feeling a certain something which most of the times I cant explain. Its just esthetics I guess, or as Duchamp said “Purely retinal”.

A few years ago I developed this habit/impulsive disorder, in which I save images I find in the biggest imagery bank in the world, the Internet. Whether its via blogs, flickr, in a Mexican newspaper, weird sites I come across with or simply by randomness I save this bunch of images and collect them. Some come from artists, some from fotographers, or graphic designers but most of them come from who knows where. About once a week when I have the time I browse them and just love to look at them. I find inspiration in this. I think when you take them out of their original context and group them together they all get a different meaning.

After having more than a thousand pictures I started to notice a certain connection, some kind of esthetic, visual and mood link between them. They somehow started to become an imagery diary in which I could start to notice those esthetic connections.

I will love to post small collections with a title (I also love titles) of this found pics for you guys. I have more than 5,000 now so beware.

Darkest Dark.
